Friday 6th June, 2025. Delaware, Ohio.
A nice leisurely morning after rain during the night, so Paula's plants are looking good. Paula and I went to the grocery store and bought some supplies. I got some more toothpaste and found the drying mats I like for the dishes. I love looking around the stores and comparing prices. They seem similar to home.
Tom and Paula's daughter Heather, husband Greg and their twins came in from Minnesota and we met them at a cider farm that had food trucks. Kate, Nate and their 2 also came and the cousins had a great time together. We're home again now and I've checked in for my flight to Scotland tomorrow. We'll leave about lunchtime and hopefully everything will be on time.
Don't you love the bird nests and yes the little birds are nesting in them.
A lovely Family Day to finish off a most amicable visit. Tiny birds! Definitely not for kookaburras or maggies. Scotland here we come! Just had some great photos of County Cork, Ire, coming through from my bro, Ronnie. Beautiful, quaint and old. Looking forward to the Scottish ruggedness.
ReplyDeleteYou are missing rain and more rain here...at long last...and cold. Only 25 mm in the last two days, but more than we have had since April. We are now having messages about being sensible with water, because the dams are well down. I'm hoping the rain stops when Susan and Teagan arrive on Saturday. Safe travels to the next destination.
