Friday 17th May..Last day of conference, Lexington.
I had to move out of my room on the dorm and move into another room to share with her as she'd paid fir the extra night and had a spare room. This saved me going to a hotel and both of us will be picked up in the morning to be driven to Cincinnati airport. Sonya will fly home to the Netherlands and me onto Paris.
Another great day with my COST mates and lots of hugs goodbye as many left to go home. Meanwhile those left went on the distillery tour. No where near the history or age of Makers Mark in Tennessee but I was able to try some beer this time. No way was I trying more bourbon, but the Tangerine beer was delicious. So I bought a little bottle. Then back to a COST older members house for dinner. More farewells and now back to the dorm. Sad seeing everyone off but of course I'm lucky enough to be heading off on another adventure!!!
Not sure who “her” is but glad she gave you a bed.
ReplyDeleteI was the same, Heather...."her"??????? Might have been someone called Sonya? Enjoy part three of the adventure. Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteLove that dramatic light shade in the “old home!” Another most convivial gathering for you all. No wonder you all cling to your roles in the Exchange Scheme😊
