26th May. On the Admiral and then bike ride from Korman to Knidos. 43kms.

I woke early and got up to see where we are motoring. Not a lot to see but I love being on the boat. I've found a lovely spot up top to view the travel from. Not windy and very peaceful. Breaky at 8 and then berthed into Korman. We nearly overshadowed a smaller boat that held Aussies. A couple from Lilydale who leave their boat her, fly over then sail around. They've been doing it for 15 years. Meanwhile we got our bike organised.  They always have our name on them but I always need a seat adjustment.  Took ages for us all to be ready and finally we headed off. Lots of uphill today and we have a number of hardy types with no bikes!!! The downhills seemed to be few and far between. Lovely views along the way and eventually we found our lunch spot by the sea. I decided to swim, soooo much effort when wet etc. And rocky. I managed and it was delightfully cool. After lunch I had to change again, really not worth the effort!!!

15kms to go and finally into the harbour of Knidos where we could see our boat. We had a tour of some Greek ruins nearby but I was soon weary. Back on the tender and climbing aboard again!! I've had a shower and feel refreshed ready for dinner. It's come over cloudy and a bit rainy but not cold. We are still sailing to get to our overnight mooring which I'm assuming  is Serve Limani, where we ride from tomorrow.

  1. Another lovely photo of you. Well done on the ride. (Did you forget to put in "E- bike on your comment? Otherwise it didn't make sense. Are they walking? )

  3. How dare you complain about hills when you have an ebike…or don’t you?? Intrepid swimmer that you are. You had a go👍I can visualise that initial organising of 26 bikes. Quiet roads? Warm weather, hillside/water views , guided riding. Very pleasant. We spent yesterday in a sunny Jells Park utilising Tony’s scooter. Lovely

  4. Water looks good- a pity about the effort involved!
