Wednesday 17th May. Pucisca on the island of Brac

Bugger, the second time I've written this. A leisurely breaky this morning and raining again. We sailed out after breakfast and I headed to my cabin. It works for me!! After a snooze I headed out as we sailed into Port.  Due to the heavy rain there was lots of silt in the water. Finally moored and after a delicious lunch we headed off for a ride at 3pm.

We headed up hill through muddy roads. Water across the road and eventually a better road. With the sun out it all looked so different.  The water is soo blue. We stopped for some great pics. Lots of olive trees and soil cleared of rocks left in mounds to be used later to make fences.

We stopped for olive oil tasting. Not for me, it's like having cod liver oil. Yuk!! Then down the hill back to our boat. Again the sun, finally, on the water looked great. I'm about to have my bread sandwich as I need a rest from eating sooo much.

  1. Love the one with you near the rock. Nice to see some blue sky.
Both yesterday and today "cold" starts- 1.2C. Winter is definitely coming here.

  4. The last picture is a great summary of the rides. So many islands so there is a view wherever you look. Picturesque small ports. That rain is a nuisance! I did giggle, Jen.

  5. I’m loving that boat. Can you please find out if they ever travel under sail? The water looks so calm, no chance of sea sickness. Favourite picture today is grey sky, grey sea, a yacht in the distance and a baby lighthouse on the harbour.
