Thursday 4th May. Ourence.

We had another great night last night for dinner, as the photos show and we walked home to our hotel through the rain.  This morning was more meetings with receiving  sites giving their reports.  I did my PowerPoint and all went well but many of the others had videos, pic of host families, reports from students etc, so I think it's well and truly time to lift my game!! Think I need a web site and a bit of an electronic handbook. Something to keep me out of mischief when I return.  I'm on the sub group to work with other receiving sites to work on information to students about their home stay.

After working a few of us headed off to the millennium bridge, well under it, to the thermal pools. Changed into our togs and hit the hot water. Great feeling in the warm and then hot pools. But smells of rotten egg gas. We high tailed back at a great rate to get ready for a winery visit followed by dinner. We are just back and I'm ready for bed. Thanks girls for the daily comments.  I love hearing from you all.

  2. Another great day. Hope you washed your bathers thoroughly. Those sulphur smells can get right into them. Glad you’re going to work on that PowerPoint.

  3. Well done. But for the smell the hot pool sounds delightful. Enjoy.
Gorgeous morning here, but clouds gathering. Mowed the lawns and done some washing. All those essentials.
Just become a great auntie again. Rob's son: Luke and his wife Jacqui had a baby girl this morning. Millie Grace. How adorable. Can't wait to see the baby.

  5. I thought you said that it was perhaps time for some new young blood! Conference fever got you?
Thermal pools on the edge of the river a unique experience to add to your long list. I think I have noticed that your photographic skills have improved. I like the composition of the 3rd and 2nd last photos. I would probably zoom the flower photo for any photo album. Tony watching the recent SpanishMoto Grand Prix…very hot. Love your daily news. Xx
