Saturday 22nd April. Zwolle.
A delightful sleep in after watching the new Netflix series, the Diplomat. We were exhausted after watching 3 episodes. Its action packed. And during it another barge came in and decided to raft onto us. It appears this is the done thing, but really. This means they walk across our barge to get off etc and it's a family of 4. They've been ok but we're not impressed.
After breaky we went into the market which was only 200 meters away. Wow the fresh veges, fruit, bread, meat, flowers, you name it. Mark took our bags back to Melba then joined us for Kibling, fish freshly Cooked in batter. Delicious. We are in sunlight, watching the boats coming and going.
I went for a walk over the other side, then Deb and I did a big walk. Lovely weather and no puffer jacket today. A little rain so I bought a cheap brolly. Back on Melba for a cuppa, bun and read. It's raining now but not cold. Loving it all and thanks for all the comments.
The market looked amazing as they tend to do over there. We are enjoying glorious autumn days. Obviously won't last long.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you have heard: Barry Humphries died yesterday in Sydney. Age 89. A good innings.
At photo No 7, I gasped…colour and architecture looked just right! Those handy local markets are such a cultural asset. I would love to wander to one each week.
