4th November. Barcelona.
Lovely little Airbnb and up for breaky then off to walk to Sagrada Familia. Jo and Kim found the way and after a long walk through delightful streets, great weather and no crowds, we arrived. Wow, what an amazing cathedral. So many interesting parts to it. We walked around it twice and found great souvenirs, especially an earing seller who had them on an umbrella.
We sat for a milkshake and coffee, then headed off again down a main shopping street, a bit like upper Collins st in Melbourne. Along the way we found more of Gaudis work. Then onto a market, a bit like the Vic market for lunch. Then on our way home we found a beautiful square where we sat and had a sangria and watched the world go by. Very weary as we made our way back home. Kim and I checked out a restaurant very close by to have dinner. Beautiful Italian food. Home now and getting ready to watch a movie.
