23rd October. Kim Ombo, Edfu and Temple of Horus.
Early big day again. Yep go go. I fall asleep early and deeply every night.
An early morning horse and carriage ride took us to the Temple of Horus. Again very hot and lots of crowds. Many of these temples have been covered up and built upon. Covered by sand or silt from the Nile. Again amazing stories of gods, revenge, and power told on the walls of the temple and in statues.
When then returned to our boat and relaxed on the upper deck with a swim. Meals are great on the boat and Jude and I often move around to meet the others.
Late afternoon we head off to see another temple at Kom Ombo. We have seen so many that it's starting to blur. But they really are awe inspiring considering their age etc.

I take it there is a pool on the boat? You wouldn't swim in the Nile? What is the name of the boat?
