Port near Athens. Greece. Day 33.May 11th

Up early and on shuttle bus to the airport.  Checked in and waited for flight. All good and arrived in Athens. Immediate strip off as very warm. Someone waiting for me and he drove me to the boat. Wow what a drive. Took nearly an hour due to traffic and my knuckles were white. What a ride. Finally turned the corner and there was the marina and our boat with all the bikes on the dock. Welcomed on board and taken to my room. Plenty of room but steep steps down to my room. Unpacked and settled in then walked around the boat/ship. About 3 levels and 18 of us. A wide age range and a group from Canada, Indiana, Denver, Spain and Switzerland.  I'm the only one from Oz. It will take awhile to remember  everyone's name, but very friendly.

Dinner was delicious. Greek salad, grilled sweet peppers,  tzatziki  and fresh bread followed by moussaka and then fresh strawberries.  Wow so delicious. Tina our guide explained the itinerary which may change due to weather but who cares. I'm  on a boat sailing the Greek islands and exploring them on a bike. What's not to like.
Not sure how the wifi will go as not on the boat, only in port. Hopefully my blog will get through.
