Day 8. Mothers day.
A little sleep in and found 2 messages from my boys for Mothers day- nice. Tom prepared breaky for Paula and myself and we ate outside and chatted. Lovely day and surrounded by pretty flowers. Kate, theur daughter and her husband Nate prepared food for our lunch/dinner and after a few games of Rummikub, Nate 2, me 1, we headed to his parents. I have been there before so again made very welcome. Nate cooked the biggest steaks and Kate had prepared a salad, potato bake and garlic bread. Delicious. Then an ice cream cake, wow!!!
We then played a card game Nerts. I didnt win!! Dont like the game!!!
Home again and getting ready for our trip to Cinncinati tomorrow to see the underground railway used for African Americans escaping slavery. Should be very interesting.
The photos below are of Paulas lovely spring flower beds.

What a lovely garden! I’ve recently discovered the joys of hostas. Paula has a terrific display of them. I’m most impressed.
