Day 43. Niagara Falls, New York.
Yep another day another state!!. Travelled along fields of vines today and we even braved the toll road so we could get to the falls for tours etc. Brian booked a 4 hour one and we parked in a free section after going over bridges to islands. I could see the mist of the falls in the distance but Brian wasn't quite sure. He joined his bus trip and I did a ride on the shuttle then rand the bike rentals and got a bike for 3 hours. I know we are always told the Canadian side is better but I have tp say, having now seen both that it is still awe inspiring from the US side aswell. I looked across and saw the Crowne where I stayed, a few years ago. Bike riding meant I saw the falls from many different angles as I island hopped. A beautiful sunny day so a glorious time. Brian did Maid of the Mist and got very wet there and in the caves behind the falls.
We have just had a lovely meal at the village inn, around the corner from our wonderful airb&b. Both of us are very weary after our big day.

Ask your brother is someone named Helen was his tour guide on the Maid of the Mist. Someone I went to high school with in San Diego now lives in the area and does those tours. I haven't been there in so long and want to go back and show Jayden (grandson) the falls someday!
