Day 42. Erie, Pennsylvania.

A slow start after staying at a very comfy airb&b. Slower still as we went to Bob Evans for breakfast. Bacon and eggs, french toast and lots of cuppas, mmm.
On the road again and easy driving on highways and roads close to Lake Erie. Again lots of fields of corn and woods with the trees just starting to turn. Cleveland was interesting with it Rock and Roll hall of fame and we noticed all the flags at half mast. Thought it might have been due to deaths from Hurricane Irma but no it was for 9/11. Really hit when told. We drove along the Lake through lovely little summer towns. We even passed where I visited in 2013 with my friends near Port Clinton. Onto Erie and our accomodation. We went out for dinner to the Cracker Barrel. Delightful place with a gift shopping selling Halloween and Christmas gifts. Our waitress spoilt us and we left with a bag of goodies to eat tomorrow.
Off to Niagara Falls tomorrow.
