Day 40. Shekineh Festival and party at Tom and Paulas house.

Slow start to morning then Tom , Paula and myself headed to a school fete, a menanite school called Shekinah. The most amazing homemade pies, cakes, apple cider and roast chicken, followed by a display of quilts that were eventually auctioned, as part of a big auction.
A brand new jayco caravan was auctioned and bought for a steel at $12,500. But the quilts went for great prices. We tried to guess what they would go for and I got pretty good by the 11th one!!
Wonderful sunny weather and home to help get organised for the party where I would meet many of the people I met at Kate and Nates wedding last year. A lovely time as we sat around the fire pit. We head off tomorrow after a wonderful stay.
