Day 38. Short North, Victirian Village, Columbus.
Leisurely start to the day and Tom and Paula took me into town. Went to a delicious restaurant that served salads where you chose what you wanted, then onto Vic village to view very old homes. Some over 100 years old. Now very expensive but have undergone extensive renovations as they didnt have kitchens, heating or cooling. One owner even had a chat to us about getting lawyers to argue rates of $36k a year!!! The homes are worth millions. Then onto a lovely little tea house where we had jasmine tea and scones. Very nice. Then called into Barnes and Noble where I bought them Rummikub. Home and started to teach them and yes I won the first 3. Beautiful dinner with very delicious red lobster biscuits!!! Think Kate is going to find me a recipe.
Paula and I head off to tour through the 12th largest house in the US and Tom is meeting Brian at a museum. Another great day with friends.
