Day 24. Springfield, Lebanon, Rola and Cuba, Missouri.
A good start with breaky at the pancake house. Wow so much food for so little and a cuppa too. This was to be a longish day but fortunately it was through lovely countryside. Green rolling hills and off the freeways so very pleasant.
We skirted around Sprinfield then into Lebanon for lunch. One of very few roadside stops/parks. The weather is much more moderate and its getting to be time to put the hood down again. Great signage today which meant we didnt have to rely on Tom Tom. We simply followed the blue Route 66 sign.
Into Cuba to stay at the Wagon Wheel, a rustic lot of cottages for 2 nights, so a bit of a breather, tho Im sure Brian has some sights in mind to visit tomorrow.
